As Art Director/Designer at George P Johnson, I led a small team (UX, 3D, PM, and CD) to create an interactive installation for the NRF 2020 Vision Show in NYC — concept to delivery in just 6 weeks, with 3D animation by Koffeecup.
The goal: help SMEs understand how IBM Cloud can support their business.
We built a touchscreen-based experience where users designed their dream store, making choices that appeared in real time on a display screen. The journey began with ceramic RFID objects placed on a reader, triggering a 32″ interface that guided users through customizations—style, size, color, and key business benefits.
Selections triggered animations on a 42.5″ screen, illustrating IBM’s tailored solutions. At the end, users launched their store into a 65″ attractor animation—joining a world of dream stores. The experience also captured valuable data to help IBM better understand its customers.
